I created this space because real healing has never fit neatly into a box.
It doesn’t happen on a schedule. It doesn’t require perfection. And it rarely looks the way the wellness industry says it should.
It happens in the in-between moments. In the quiet shifts. In the slow, sometimes messy process of learning to come back to yourself — again and again.
That’s what Sacred Wave Wellness is about.
Who I Am
I’m Courtenay — a Registered Massage Therapist, sound bath practitioner, and creator of Sacred Wave Botanicals.
I’ve spent years studying the body, the nervous system, and the quieter truths that shape how we actually feel in our lives. Not just in a clinical sense, but through my own ongoing experience of what it means to heal, grow, and rebuild something that feels genuinely mine.
This publication is where that learning lives. The professional and the personal, woven together.
What Brought Me Here
Most of us were never taught how to actually relate to what we feel.
We learned to think about our experiences. Analyze them. Push through them. But not how to stay with them in a way that feels steady or supportive.
Over time, that creates a kind of disconnection. From the body. From the emotions. From a sense of self that feels solid and real.
I know that disconnection personally. And I know what it takes to find your way back — not in one dramatic moment, but in small, repeated acts of coming back to yourself.
That’s what this space is built around.
